Carrboro.com covers events happening in and around Carrboro, and attempts to let folks know about all of the great things this community has to offer. We welcome any and all suggestions on how to improve this website, and enjoy receiving and acting upon feedback from you, the reader. Tell us what you'd like to see, and we'll do our best to get it added.

Carrboro is a small community of around 17,000 people, many who try to practice the Golden Rule, do unto others. We are striving to make Carrboro the best it can be and a great place to live. We are blessed to live in Carrboro, a community that appreciates our gifts, and gives back to us a thousandfold. We couldn't ask for more.

Carrboro.com is owned and operated by Jackie Helvey, an artist and single mother who moved to the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area of North Carolina from Indiana on Thanksgiving Day of 1979. She recognizes the significance of arriving on this date, and remains forever thankful.
