Carrboro.com is owned and operated by Jackie Helvey, an artist and single mother who moved to the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area of North Carolina from Indiana on Thanksgiving Day of 1979. She recognizes the significance of arriving on this date, and remains forever thankful.
