Its kite flying season! Carrboro's 25th Annual Kite Fly will be held on Sunday April 13, 2007 from 2 - 3:30 pm at Anderson Park in the rear field. This event is held at the onset of Spring each year, and provides an opportunity for young and old to come out and enjoy the sunshine, while honing their kite aviation skills. Come fill the skies with colorful kites! Whether you are 2 or 92, kite flying is an activity that can be enjoyed at any age. Ribbons awarded to all participants - young and old! This is a great outing for family and friends. Bring out your kite and enjoy the fun! This is a free event and lessons for inexperienced flyers will be offered as well, so don't be afraid if you never flown a kiyte before. There is no rain date scheduled for this event.
