This exhibit features the
photography of Lorie Clark. Lorie creates positive, real life and poignant
images of people through her photography. Lorie was born in Chapel Hill and
raised in Carrboro, where she recently returned home.

Clark's interest began during her sophomore year at Eckerd College in
St. Petersburg, Florida, where she received a B.A. in communications.
She's been creating images ever since.
These photos are of the Million Woman March,
which occured in October of 1997.

Her southern upbringing, along with the exposure of her travels,
are apparent in the trustworthiness of her close-up portraits,
which are intimate and revealing. Her work is an extension of how she
views life. Ms. Clark's work has been on display in local Maryland libraries and galleries
throughout the states. Four of her photographs have been published as greeting
cards with Ethnographics.

Clark self published "Love in All Emotions," an inspiring and spirit
filled book of verses. Her exhibit "Photofusions" is a special gift.
