In keeping with the spirit of my motto, “Give Rust a Chance”, I prowl the known and unknown repositories of discarded metals searching for line, curve, and gesture. It’s not that I object to new material; I use it when required. But what started in art school in the 60’s as a student necessity grew into an obsession over the decades. Recycled metals and other materials are an integral part of my production palette and part of the endless loop of the Earth’s bounty.
