VicTORIa RALSTON is a Carrboro, NC-based installation and performance artist, set designer, properties artisan, costume designer, puppetry designer, and educator.
She creates large scale multimedia installation environments, using film, sound, and light to guide perceptions within space and time.
Tori earned her MFA in Sculpture from the University of Minnesota. She is a lecturing professor of Mixed Media Sculpture and Technology and the Arts at North Carolina State University and she works with the documentary team Rock Fish Stew of Durham, NC.
Theater of Performing Objects, an experimental puppetry organization founded by Ralston, was recently funded through the Henson Foundation to create an object performance piece called Harvesting Pomegranate Dreams.
