Multimedia installation constructed as a bamboo forest with etched bamboo staulks harvested locally. Seven backlit puppets cast shadows representing the seven chakras of the body with super 8 mm film loops of moving objects projecting into bottles of fluid.
Text: The memory said to the hand: "We carry our personal history in our tissue, each cell is like a memory bank that holds the past." And the hand said to the memory: "The best way to free yourself from the past is to locate it in the body."
