This little section highlights our recent 9 day trip to the UK. These are slideshows of Borth-y-gest, the seaside village where we stayed, and Porthmadog, right next door. Also included are Portmeirion, an enchanted village nearby, Caernarfon Castle, and Manchester, UK. The Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit in Charlotte, NC is running through September 12. Music performed live on the Wac Stern Show, Dreamer by Le Bete Magique, Between the Lines by Laura Sylvestri and Tom Johnson, and Falling by Ellen Hart and Connor Belson.

The Minnie Evans Bottle Chapel at Airlie Gardens was built in 2004. This sculpture was created by Virginia Wright-Frierson and consists of thousands of bottles.

This is one of our favorite places, the pier at Kure Beach.

This octopus swam over and reached out an arm to touch the glass, as if to say hello! This experience absolutely blew me away!
